Her hands are shaking and she nearly chokes
on her own tears as she hears the boy’s plead,
his wish for her to end his life so he doesn’t
have to suffer. Nerissa is torn between wanting
to help him and crying until she’d pass out.

This isn’t supposed to happen, he’s still so young,
there are so many things he’s yet to see. How can
he just ask her to end his life? And what else is there
to do for her, other than fulfill his last wish?

“I promise it won’t hurt. It’ll be quick and I’ll try my best
not to hurt you. Think of something beautiful, of
something that makes you happy, okay Sam? We’ll get
through this together, it’ll be out last mission
together. Ready, set, go, okay?”
